Meet Chris and Rebecca:

They were married on Rebecca's parents' cattle farm in Rutledge, TN. While that may sound like an unlikely setting for a wedding, it was the most unexpectedly beautiful location we've ever worked. Before the ceremony, we played in the tall grasses (Rebecca was up for anything- which made it so fun!) to get some bridal portraits.

My favorite moment of the day was Rebecca's entrance to the wedding ceremony.  She said it was a "game day decision" which prevented her from climbing a steep hill toward the aisle, and it left Chris in shock!

Rebecca's niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer- can you get any cuter?!

Wedding parties like this one, made up of only siblings and closest friends, add to the intimate feel of a wedding day.

Once in a lifetime shots...  Joshua and I were SO excited about that tractor!

Chris and Rebecca's cake and cupcakes were provided by the ever-delicious, butter-loving Magpies Bakery

There are always special moments in those dances with the parents!

The detailed personal touches in the decor added so much charm to the rustic setting:

I'm always glad to see a bride enjoying her reception after all the hard work of planning a wedding.

When the sky smiles like this, it's just begging to be photographed.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bray!

P.S.  I have to tell you this too: Brian S. Graham Entertainment provided music, sound, and emcee.  Brian always goes above and beyond for the couples he works with.  He helped a grandmother to her seat when he himself has a broken foot!

And a shout-out must go to Janna Fowler of All About Weddings.  As a wedding photographer, I work with a wide variety of wedding planners.  Janna is always a pleasure to work with- professional, organized, thoughtful, and a relaxing presence on a wedding day- all majorly important characteristics of a great planner and coordinator!

I have been meaning to share this wedding since December, so I'm really excited to finally do so!  Clara and Kenny had a gorgeous Christmas-themed wedding in Rocky Top, TN (formerly Lake City-- a name change I'm still trying to get used to). I loved all the festive colors and sparkles!

Clara's hair was done by Brooke Kitts of Shimmerz Salon in Norris TN, but veil adjustment was done by Clara's mom.

Clara and Kenny decided to do a First Look, which was such a great idea for keeping the day running smoothly.  Plus, having so few pictures to do after the ceremony allowed them to enjoy their reception with their 200+ guests. Here's Clara:

And here's Kenny seeing his beautiful bride for the first time:

It's easy to see they adore each other!

Did I mention there was a little bit of Disney magic at this wedding, too?

An evening ceremony doesn't get much prettier than this:

Charlie Smith from Village Florist made the bouquets and boutonnieres- they suited the wedding perfectly!

The guys were good sports, wearing pink socks and standing in the shade to show them off, even though it was very cold outside.  I think they were having fun in the midst of their complaining, wouldn't you agree?

Kenny's grandfather's classic Chevy was their getaway car at the end of the night.

Clara, her mom, and her aunts thought of every detail to turn the church function room into a winter wedding wonderland, and the men of the family made those plans a reality:  Christmas ornaments graced every table and sparkly trees lit up every corner of the room, thousands of twinkle lights filled the room with a soft glow, and lit garland finished the edges.  It was the most extensive room decor we have ever seen!

I just think that cake is gorgeous!  Rosa's Catering made it.  Definitely Pinterest-worthy.

It was such a pleasure to work with Ryan's Production to capture every part of Kenny and Clara's day.  At the close of the night they danced, surrounded by candlelight, to Disney's "Now That I See You" from the movie Tangled, and then sent laterns into the night sky.  They exited to "When You Wish Upon a Star," and I cried!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Harrell!
