It has been cold here in Tennessee.  COLD.  My blood has thinned since we moved here from Maine over 7 years ago, so I'm no longer accustomed to such chilly temperatures! But it does warm my heart to think of the cold-weather wedding we photographed for this adorable couple, Cindy and Ray, in Gatlinburg.

Just Cindy's immediate family was in attendance, but the size of the group didn't impact how carefully she planned every part of the day.  The ladies from Bangs and Blush worked their makeup magic (not that Cindy needed much "magic") to make her a stunning bride:

Ray and the guys got ready in their own relaxed way:

And then everyone headed to the church for the ceremony.  The chapel didn't allow outside photographers during the ceremony, but there are still some special moments before a ceremony that are important to capture:

Can't you almost hear Cindy's sweet Louisiana drawl when you look at her smile?

I think this one (below) is my favorite from the day. It was a quick, unexpected laugh after someone honked their car horn in congratulations:

Although this one is a close second, because it required a lot more planning and luck!  Did I mention it was cold that day? By this point, my fingers were aching from the cold.  I can't imagine how the bride must have felt, but we moved as quickly as we could so she could get her coat on!

Ah, the warmth of The Park Grill! After thawing out a little, Cindy and Ray could relax and celebrate their new titles as husband and wife.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kass!
